Safe, EOTC surf programs for Years 1-13. We bring everything to the beach
We’ve been running school surf programs across Auckland and Northland since 2002. Every program is planned and delivered by our team so teachers can focus on their students rather than logistics.
We come to your closest beach, bring all the equipment, manage the rotations, and send students home having experienced something they’ll genuinely remember.
All programs are EOTC compliant, delivered by ISA-qualified instructors who hold Community Surf Lifesaving Awards and First Aid certification.
From $22 per student | Years 1-13 | 9.45am – 2.00pm
Our most popular school program. A fully managed day at the beach with multiple activities running in rotation so every student is active the entire time. Groups rotate through surfing, beach games and team building, with an optional surf rescue rotation. Up to 140 students managed simultaneously – all equipment, all supervision, all day.
From $25 per student | Years 3-13 | Morning, afternoon or weekend sessions
A progressive weekly or fortnightly surf program that runs as part of your school timetable across a term or semester.
Students develop real surfing skills session by session, building ocean confidence and technique in a structured, safe environment. Curriculum-linked with NCEA Level 2 and 3 credit pathways available for senior students.
From $25 per student | Years 1-13 | 1.5 – 2 hrs
A single surf session tailored for your school group. Perfect as a standalone trip or combined with other beach activities. Students get a proper lesson – beach safety briefing, land drills, in-water coaching and wave riding. A great first taste of the ocean for students who may never have had the chance before.
Surfing
Every student gets in the water. Our instructors work with all ability levels, from kids who’ve never seen a surfboard to those who want to push further. The goal is simple: every student learns to surf, rides waves, and walks away with a genuine sense of achievement.
Beach Education
Students learn to read the ocean, understand coastal environments and develop a real respect for the water. It’s practical, engaging and genuinely eye opening for students who’ve grown up near the coast but never really understood it. This is woven naturally into the day.
Beach Games and Team Building
High energy, seriously fun, and more educational than it looks. Our beach activities are designed to build communication, problem solving and team dynamics, students don’t realise how much they’re learning because they’re too busy competing. Adjusted based on age, conditions and the energy of the group on the day.
Surf Rescue
One of the most powerful rotations we run. Students get real, hands on ocean safety experience that goes well beyond a classroom safety talk. Builds leadership, decision making and genuine confidence in the water. Adapted for age and ability.
From first contact to day on the beach
1. Connect
Get in touch by phone, email or book a video call. Gives us a rough estimate on your year group(s), number of students and preferred dates. We’ll come back within 24 hours with a program recommendation and quote.
2. Plan
Once you’re happy with the program we lock in the details, confirm the beach, and send you everything you need risk documentation, parent permission templates, day of logistics and what to bring.
3. Deliver
Arrive at the beach and hand your students over. Our team manages everything from the safety briefing through to rotations, equipment and in-water coaching. Teachers & supervisors are inducted at the start of the day and supported throughout.
